Day 5 started out just like yesterday but we had even more waiting for us when we arrived. We were able to get started earlier since when did not have to set up all the rooms again.
It was obvious from the start that we were going to break a record for the most patients we've ever seen before on a medical trip. Our final count for the week was 1622 people. We praise the Lord for allowing us to touch so many lives with the Gospel message.
A testimony of lives being changed came today as a lady came up to me this morning and said that she was saved last year while we were here at Maranatha. She has since been baptized and is growing in the Lord. She thanked us again for coming and sharing with this community. This is why we come so far and work so hard to make these kinds of trips possible. To hear her say "thank you for coming" and knowing that her life has been changed by Christ makes the whole trip worthwhile.
Tomorrow we will divide into two groups and attend worship at Maranatha and at Iglesia Luz del Norte. Thank you so much for your prayer.
